The U.S. Senate passed legislation funding most of the Department of Homeland Security while withholding funds from ICE and part of Customs and Border Protection in an overnight voice vote. The House must still act to allow funded agencies including the Transportation Security Administration and Coast Guard to reopen after a shutdown that began February 13.
