Lucas di Grassi, the 2016-17 Formula E champion, announced his retirement from racing at the Berlin E-Prix, with his final race scheduled for August at the London E-Prix season finale. The 41-year-old, who has won 13 Formula E races and achieved 41 podium finishes across a 25-season career, will transition to a new role within the championship assisting with development of the Gen4 car.
