London schools across the borough of Sutton are trialling virtual reality headsets in conjunction with the local NHS mental health trust to help pupils manage stress related to exams, ADHD, and home difficulties. The seven-minute VR programme, deployed across all 15 secondary schools in the pilot, has reported improved attendance and behaviour among students, with nine out of 10 pupils experiencing immediate stress reduction.
