Mubi has acquired distribution rights for South Korean director Na Hong-Jin's sci-fi action thriller "Hope" across multiple international territories including Latin America, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Turkey, ahead of the film's Cannes Film Festival competition premiere. The film stars Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, and Hoyeon alongside Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, and Taylor Russell, and is set in a remote Korean village near the DMZ where a tiger's appearance masks a darker mystery.
