Pluto Film has acquired worldwide sales rights to Chilean psychological thriller "Summer War," directed by Alicia Scherson, ahead of its market debut at Cannes and world premiere at Tribeca in June. The film, Scherson's second adaptation of a Roberto Bolaño novel, follows an obsessive board game champion whose holiday at a Chilean seaside resort becomes entangled in mystery when a tourist vanishes.
