NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope will launch in early September aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket, ahead of schedule and under budget, NASA administrator Jared Isaacman announced at the agency's Goddard Space Flight Center on Tuesday. The $4.3 billion observatory, which features a mirror equal in size to the Hubble Space Telescope but with a wider field of view, is expected to discover tens of thousands of exoplanets and study dark matter and dark energy to unlock fundamental mysteries about the universe's expansion.
